Optimus Prime cake

Crazy, crazy, crazy! We've definitely come a long way since our first Optimus Prime birthday cake.

This one was a real challenge. A groom's/birthday-wedding cake.....yeah that sounds right. The Groom's B-day was on the same day as their wedding so the Bride decided to surprise him with one of his favourite cartoons. The mini-bride and present box were a nice touch I felt.

New Years Cake!


A Chinese/Vietnamese New Year cake. This one was a joy and a challenge to decorate.
Mr. Cakerific and I decided to decorate the three tiered cake with elements that represented the occasion: side 1) a detailed golden Dragon; side 2) firecrackers; side 3) the traditional hoa mai flower; and side 4) an ancient scroll with hand drawn calligraphy.

Bumblebee. Definitely one of my most difficult cakes. I'm sooooo pleased with the outcome. Thank you to my husband and his Transformers obsession, it really helped towards the final product.
